Motoro vehicle crashes are the No. 1 cause of unintentional workplace deaths in the United States, and most of these crashes are preventable. The National Safety Council's Employer Safety Program Our Driving Concern is offering this free training program for employers and their employees that provide presentation skills in conjunction with the traffic safety curriculum that is used to address driver behaviors on and off the job that are costly to Texas employers. This training is geared for HR professionals, safety professionals, supervisors, safety instructors, and other staff that can utilize these materials.
The ODC materials are designed with an Employer-Employee focus and are designed to deliver to your employees at staff meetings, safety meetings, etc. Each module includes scripted PowerPoint, video and audio presentations, facilitator guide, tip sheets, and handouts. This program provides a variety of resources for employers to help prevent these crashes and their bottom line. The ODC: Texas Employer Safety Program, funded by a grant from the TxDOT. Attend this training and you will receive your own copy of the curriculum and materials for use at your company. You do not have to be an NSC member to take advantage of these free resources as this is funded by a traffic safety grant from TxDOT.
