Tracks: Certificate Program

Learn the fundamental competencies of asset management -- an essential skill set for today's property manager -- and gain a better understanding of how to communicate with the owner and asset manager. This certificate program is a focused sequence of five one-hour sessions on Saturday (lunch provided), culminating with a two-hour capstone exercise on Sunday morning.  The modules include:

1. Aseet Managment through the Lens of the Investment Cycle
2. Impacting the Bottom Line: Creating Asset Value and Controlling Costs
3. Making Strategic Decisions based on Economic Trends and Market Conditions
4. Capital Planning for Increased Financial Returns
5. Developing a Leasing Plan to Maximize Value
Capstone Exercise:  Building Case Study Evaluation

A separate registration fee and advanced sign-up required for this certificate program.


Certificate Requirements

Learners who attend a minimum of four education track modules as well as the mandatory Capstone Module and earn a passing score on assessments for each module attended will qualify for the Certificate of Participation. This certificate may be applied as five credit hours to the point requirement in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program to maintain active status in the BOMI International RPA and FMA designation programs, or continuing education unit for other education requirements.
