The Building Codes & Voluntary Standards Committee maintains BOMA's position as the leading commercial real estate organization on codes and standards issues. The committee provides guidance to BOMA's advocacy staff and educates the membership on codes and standards developments. The committee also directs BOMA's advocacy efforts in the adoption of the International Codes at the state and local level, provides guidance to local associations working with local building code officials, and plays an active role on standards writing committees.
