The CMS is for those who are new to the pool and spa service industry or are working a pool maintenance route. There are no prerequisites; new and seasonal employees are welcome. Learn key content in the APSP Service Tech Manual including safety, pool circulation and filtration, pool maintenance, and water quality. A 75-question, open book, multiple choice exam must be successfully completed (by scoring a 75% or better) to earn the designation.
The CMS meets the State of Connecticut education requirement for the Contractor’s (SP-1) and Journeyman (SP-2) Licenses.
