Is diversity of personnel an unalloyed benefit for an organization? Does homogeneity inevitably lead to the echo chamber effect? Does bringing in people "who don't fit in" pay dividends that offset the costs, or will the conflicts always be intractable? Does it matter which organization is making those decisions?
