If Mensa accepts the top 2% and the US population is 330 million, American Mensa's membership should be more than 100 times what it is. Why are we such a small organization? Has the Internet's plethora of virtual social opportunities sated appetites for face-to-face interaction? What do you get from being here that you don't get online?
