Learn about the many issues concerning the fate of wolves and wolf-dog hybrids that have been kept in captivity. The free spirit and innate behaviors of these animals make them unsuited for a captive life – and yet the will of some humans has forced these animals into a role that they are unable to fill. It is the animals that then pay the price. The speaker will share personal experiences and behavioral observations to help explain why wolves – like any other wild animal – are not pets.
