DISA is implementing a MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) backbone in support of DISA’s strategy to evolve services and move to an “Everything-over-IP” infrastructure.
In order to migrate customers to our MPLS VPN (Virtual Private Network) services we will require Ethernet handoffs instead of Legacy Time Division Multiplex (TDM).
