Within the Department of Defense, cyber-attacks are making headline news and costing taxpayers billions in losses. Along with technical advancements comes the need to manage security activity for the implementation and sustainment of security posture for DoD programs. This session will address continuous monitoring and security posture assessment, configuration baseline management, reporting, standards management [including Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual Risk Management Framework (RMF)], Information Assurance (IA) controls, management of Operational Orders (OPORDs), and Cyber task orders for DISA programs in sustainment. Additionally, speaker will discuss Registration Authority direction for DISA, maintenance plans, and ongoing management of audit findings through conclusion.
