This session will focus on DISA’s Unified Capabilities (UC) Portfolio, to include DISA’s current enterprise capabilities and services, portfolio integration, and the DoD-CIO UC Master Plan. DISA’s UC Portfolio is focused on increased productivity, improved information sharing, and enhanced teamwork across DoD through the use of integrated and stand-alone voice, video, collaboration, email, office productivity, and content management solutions.
The session will also cover DISA’s Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS) Program and its role in the DISA Unified Capabilities (UC) Portfolio. Formerly DoD Enterprise Email 2.0 (DEE 2.0), DEOS is focused on cloud-based solutions that will meet mission partners’ needs for 2017 – 2020 and beyond, resulting in greater efficiency and agility, reducing the number of current legacy stovepipe solutions, and providing DoD mission partners with current technology at a lower cost. DEOS is envisioned as a non-developmental, cloud-based, commercially available Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. Currently, DEOS is in the initial acquisition planning phase and validating requirements.
