This paper presents the newest developments of measuring, inspection and machine technology for roll grinders. Herkules’ infeed design, measuring and grinding technology enhances the quality of the roll’s shape and surface. Additionally, current application examples will demonstrate how the technology results in higher quality of the flat-rolled products.
