Student Day gives full-time students pursuing a post-secondary degree in a grain-related field a structured environment to meet industry professionals and learn about different career paths. Student Day includes a program, an opportunity to visit the Expo Hall and a social event in the evening.
Students will then be able to learn about various career paths in the grain handling industry through round-table discussions with current industry professionals, followed by an afternoon meeting the Exhibitors in the Expo Hall to see the latest technology in the industry.
This year the program includes AgriAssociates presenting an outline for careers in the agricultural industry. The presentation will cover:
• Current outlook of agricultural industry
• Current state of job market
• Planning strategy for a career in the ag industry
• Preparing for the job hunt
