NFPA 652 and 61: Changes that Impact the Grain, Feed and Processing Industries (Room 2505AB)

National Fire Protection Association [NFPA] 652- Standard on the Fundamentals of Combustible Dust is a newly revised standard released in 2016 to prevent and mitigate the fire and explosion hazards of dusts. NFPA 61 will issue its next revision this year, including the most significant changes in recent years. Craig Froehling, Engineering Lead at World Wide Grain - Cargill, will present key requirements of the standards and the impact these changes will have on the grain handling, processing and feed manufacturing industries. Froehling has over twenty years of experience in plant environments and establishing improvement strategies. He is also a member of the NFPA 61 Technical Committee and NFPA Combustible Dust Correlating Committee.
