Dust systems are used to pick up dust at grain transfer points throughout grain facilities. Adding suction keeps grain handling equipment and bins from plugging with unwanted waste material and dust, and suction manifolds installed under Pit Grates can reduce waste by keeping dust to a minimum when trucks unload grain. The waste collected by the system can either be reintroduced into the grain or, as in grain cleaning operations, the waste can be stored in a separate hopper or bin.
