This practical Pod session will include the live demonstration of a point of use dust collector. Participants will have an opportunity to walk around the collector and open the cover to examine the interior components. Attendees can choose to remove the filter pack and replace it in order to gain a firsthand understanding of the ease of this operation compared to changing out traditional bags in a central collector. The session will offer basic background information on traditional dump pit designs that utilize centralized collections with baghouses, as well as photos of newly designed dump pits with a point of use collector installed.
