This presentation will provide attendees with an opportunity to become familiar with complex burn care in both adult and pediatric patients. This program will review modern resuscitation techniques with a focus on pre-hospital recommendations and how to approach those patients who are “non-responders.” Mike will also give a detailed review of the differences between adult and pediatric burn care as well as updates on the care of inhalation injury, chemical and electrical burns. This program may be used for EMS continuing education units.
