The Navy integrated the Sea Rolling Airframe Missile (SeaRAM) onto its Aegis-equipped Arleigh Burke-class destroyers (DDG-51) for the first time in November 2015. This addition gives an extra layer of capability and fulfills an important requirement for self-protection on the Rota-Based DDGs. This discussion will give an update on the status of the integration, any hardware and software modifications that will be needed, as well as insight into future plans and needs.
