The Office of Chief Procurement Officer has continued to review and refine the department’s acquisition process. Chief Procurement Officer Soraya Correa and members of the DHS team will explain the Acquisition Innovations in Motion (AIiM) initiative, and describe examples of the acquisition process being streamlined and modified, both from a policy and operational viewpoint. Moderator Cedric Sims will guide the discussion of the “Reverse Industry Day" and other industry engagement efforts to implement targeted initiatives to improve the Department’s business processes.
