DHS has begun several agency-wide initiatives to improve its overall workforce, especially by using its 2014 authorities to enhance the cybersecurity workforce. DHS is improving the hiring process overall, especially for the Cyber workforce, using an expedited process, with special compensation standards, to initially recruit and retain the cyber employees. CHCO Angela Bailey and her Human Capital team will describe many of the initiatives and practices now underway at DHS.
