The pace and range of man-made threats and natural disasters require creative solutions with minimal time-to-need. To achieve this, DHS is maximizing appropriate use of Other Transaction Authority and flexibility within traditional contracting mechanisms. This panel will bring together members of the DHS Science & Technology Directorate and the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer to discuss strategies, examples, and best practices for implementation.
