This session will engage the audience and will include a discussion around complicated wounds involving various microorganisms, focused on bacteria, including the mechanisms of antimicrobial drug resistance. We will also review the current thinking around appropriate antimicrobial usage, including newer antimicrobials and treatment for complex and drug-resistant infections.
