This is a two hour session. The intersection of performance, opportunity and access to capital is where business success occurs. While many MBEs have been successful at organic growth, it does not increase capacity at the rate required by corporations. They are seeking MBEs with increased scale and capacity now to include in their supply chain. In order to meet the needs of NMSDC corporate members and achieve scalability, MBEs will need to consider acquiring other companies as well as strategic assets to grow their business to the next level. Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Capital Access Funds and the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) will convene a panel of diverse-owned private equity firms, with more than $2 billion in assets under management, that are seeking to invest in top performing diverse suppliers.
