Strain-based instrumentation and analysis of a marine terminal wharf was conducted during close-in underwater rock blasting. Geophones measurements were performed to correlate pile cap and concrete deck strain with water overpressures. Peak strains up to 300 micro-strains and water pressure up to 367 psi were recorded.
