Applying Construction Fall Protection Concepts to General Industry (Room 236)

On Jan. 17, Subpart D of OSHA’s revised Walking-Working Surfaces and Personal Fall Protection Systems rule for general industry went into effect. This new standard adopted many of the fall protection requirements found in construction standards that have been around since 1994. In this session, we’ll discuss key components of the new standard and how general industry employers need to take and apply proven concepts that have worked for the construction industry.
