Tracks: Emerging Issues

Each day, staffing businesses send millions of employees to work in offices, factories, hospitals, warehouses and other worksites across the United States. Protecting the safety and health of these employees can be tricky. What should the host employer do? What about the staffing agency? Whether temporary or permanent, all workers have a right to a safe and healthy workplace. This session will discuss the roles and responsibilities of the host employer and the staffing agency, as well as the steps each should take regarding hazard recognition and analysis, safety and health training, incident investigation, medical treatment, and injury and illness tracking. You’ll also learn about available tools and resources.
