The purchase of swimming pools, spas, and yes, even commitment to long-term services are emotion driven purchases.  It is important to understand that people buy people before they buy products and services.  Often, we try to succeed in sales by following so-called simple rules or learned phases.  The reason that these tactics alone are no longer successful in our current market conditions is not only because they are ineffective in and of themselves, but also because they omit an important and necessary ingredient - emotion. The sale is all about emotions.  Be ready to get 'hot and bothered'.
