This session is offered as a primer for understanding and further learning the principles of bonding on swimming pools based on NFPA70/NEC 690.26. The 2008, 2001 and 2014 electrical will be reviewed and differences discussed. You will leave this seminar with a raised awareness of potential electrical issues and how to prevent them.
Session Objectives:
- Learn about bonding and wiring as it relates to safty and compliance
- Learn about the requirements for perimeter surface equipotential bonding for spas and aboveground pools
- Learn about current products, tools and devices used to meet code safety requirements
- Real-life examples will be used to show proper as well as unsafe conditions
