This seminar explains how ultra violet disinfection (UV) systems work on residential pools/spas and how to specifically size/choose/sell UV systems. Topics covered will include how UV works, how to correctly size UV units, how to sell UV (set expectations for consumers) and how to install UV units on residential pools and spas for both new pools or on existing pools and spas. Other topics covered: UV system maintenance (including bulb changing and winterizing), low-pressure vs medium pressure UV (knowing the difference and applications), how UV lowers chemical usage, prevents skin and eye irritation and improves air quality by eliminating chloramines making it the superior choice for indoor pools.

- How to correctly choose and size UV units to particular pool sizes/types
- How to install UV units (installed before heaters and other tips/tricks) --- hands-on-learning/units will be used in the classroom
- How to set expectations/correctly sell UV units including maintenance/winterizing
