The 2016 Pool & Spa Show

Basic Tile, Coping and Glass Tile Installation (Room 401)

26 Jan 16
8:30 AM - 11:45 AM

Tracks: Technical

This session shows the best practices for basic tile and coping installation following the guidelines of the Tile Council of North America (TCNA). A proper installation should last decades but failure to follow the correct procedures will result in delaminations, cracking, and other problems (glass tile is expensive and time consuming to install). This seminar will show the best practices for glass tile installation following the TCNA guidelines.  Students will significantly reduce their risk exposure by learning the tricks of the trade from the first-hand experience of a top-tier glass installer. Get inspired with several images of completed works and the step-by-step process that led up to the spectacular finish. *This class is recognized as 3.25 hrs/0.3 IACET CEUs (GENESIS)
