A parliamentary procedure is an organized method of running an orderly and effective meeting.  It is intended to expedite the flow of business and to ensure that decisions are arrived at in an open and democratic manner.  However, to some, parliamentary procedures are arcane, complex, and unknown set of rules.  The session is designed to help you gain a basic understanding of parliamentary procedures.
