Tracks: Hotel Industry Workshop
This workshop will provide an overview of the SPLA2 family and the different mechanisms played by those enzymes in the formation and destabilization of atherosclerotic plaque. Recent epidemiological data supporting SPLA - 2 - 11A isoform as a potent novel biomarker for cardiovascular risk assessmentin asymptomatic, acute coronary syndrome and overt coronary heart disease patients will also be presented.
