After attending this session, participants will be able to: 1) explain the purpose and scope of various endocrine investigations for individual patients needs, as well as the essential role of test interpretation in the provision of laboratory services; 2) identify the needs of physicians/Endocrinologists in different clinical situations; 3) describe the limitations of laboratory investigations and utilize this knowledge in effective communication with physicians; and 4) develop and create a culture of consultative and interpretive reporting of laboratory investigations.
