Organic Equivalency arrangements are a policy tool used to help organic producers export their goods without the additional certifications often required by the importing country. This session asks, how effective are these arrangements at actually increasing the value and volume of trade?  Using econometric analysis, Professor Ted Jaenicke and OTA use HTS code data to measure the impact of organic equivalency.
