The pet food industry and other stakeholders eagerly await organic standards providing clear and consistent requirements for organic pet food. With the release of a proposed rule on Origin of Livestock this spring, the NOP has moved one step closer to making this a reality. This session provides an update on the process, and panelists will discuss the proposed rule as well as a new global report outlining the economic potential of premium pet foods.
