social Media marketing has become a critical piece of marketing for every retail business in existence. The key for retailers is to assess the specific needs of their business to determine which social media tools you should invest your time (and sometimes money) in to growing. This seminar will deliver in-depth education on how to use the current social media tools to develop an ongoing marketing program for the business. In addition to learning how to use the current social tools, attendees will learn about the newest additions to social media sites such as Pinterest, Vine, and Instagram and others. These new tools are attracting and engaging customers in a deeper way with quicker and more frequent interactions and it is important for retailers to understand how to use these new sites differently to be more effective. After learning what’s now and what’s new—attendees will get a glimpse into the future of social media and where it is going. The session will end with introductions to the next wave of social media sites, information about new measurement tools that are being developed and an understanding how social media is going to be affecting the next generation of shoppers for years to come.
