This session will present an overview of traditional detection and ranging methods, and will provide an in-depth look at direct optical time-of-flight sensing technology, comparing it to other time-of-flight methods. Attendees will also learn about the various architectural components of a direct optical time-of-flight sensor. In addition, we will present various examples of detection and ranging applications than can leverage direct optical time-of-flight sensing in homes, buildings, cities, vehicles, and industries.
