Most organizations are in a constant state of change when it comes to safety. Although they desire to reduce exposure, injuries and the probability of a catastrophic event, they don’t know how to achieve those goals. Lagging metrics can be a challenge for companies with low accident rates, while businesses with higher rates often don’t know how or where to start making improvements. This presentation will cover a “Best in Class” assessment methodology that focuses on developing a strategic safety plan that is grounded in a true and deep understanding of an organization. Topics that will be explored include safety culture, structures, systems and leadership.
