Even the most conscientious companies may find themselves the subject of an OSHA inspection, and preparation is imperative. This two-part session will briefly review the best ways to get ready and then shift focus to OSHA’s latest enforcement and regulatory initiatives. The first segment will cover best practices and recent trends seen in how OSHA inspections are carried out. The second segment will review recent and ongoing enforcement initiatives such as the Severe Violators Enforcement Program (SVEP), and will also focus on temporary workers and rapid response investigations. With the new reporting requirements that are in effect, this session will shed light on how OSHA is likely to triage the response to a reported injury. This ed session is CEU-approved for attendees who have earned a credential through the GEAPS/Kansas State University Credentialing Program.

(CEU) This session earns continuing education credit for attendees who have already earned a credential through the GEAPS/Kansas State University Credential Progaram.
