Disasters can have catastrophic results, but lack of planning can make things even worse. In this session, you’ll learn how to create an emergency action plan, how to train for disasters and how to partner with local authorities. It will also examine the importance of designating coordinators for dealing with investigative authorities, insurance agencies, affected families and the media. In the post-disaster phase, it’s also imperative to have a detailed plan for business recovery, as well as team members with defined roles. This session will help participants make the best out of the worst.
