During a scheduled Major Overhaul on a european combined cycle power plant and according to a co-operation agreement signed with the Customer, Ansaldo Energia Service department, in collaboration with its R&D department, developed and implemented the “Lead Engine” project.
Starting from the presentation of Ansaldo Energia/Customer co-operation agreement context, the paper shows the realization phases of the “Lead Engine” project, from the engineering to the on-site delivery & tests.
