Delivering Operational Intelligence for a Multinational Enterprise Fleet Generation Environment using a Real-Time Data Infrastructure (Room G105, Auditorium Centre, First Floor)

In 2007 EDP Produção began the SKIPPER project, which aims, from a platform based on the OSIsoft PI System and other data sources, to build a system that offers features to support management of energy production. Upon completing the project, these expectations were met, including direct provision of production data, in an environment of sharing best practices and technology as well as retention of knowledge. This presentation summarizes the applications of SKIPPER and what are the main outcomes that EDP achieved, including high economic impacts
