From mid 2014 to early 2015, the first 9HA gas turbine was operated over a brought range of operating conditions, well beyond any field and site testing capability. The operation extends into off- frequency conditions and load transients which become standard operating conditions for the latest state of the are gas turbine designs. This paper will discuss the results of the full load testing for the first 9HA gas turbine. Insights will be provided on performance, reliability and life cycle assessment of employed components and materials. A further update will cover the HA units under construction and the progress on the 7HA testing.
