This session is intended to be a discussion on the review of fire protection submittals by the consulting engineer. The discussion will be focused on the consulting engineer’s responsibility in regards to a delegated design by the contractor. It will include the review of project data, working on layout drawings from the contractor, and hydraulic calculations. By participating in this session, the engineer/designer will be able to consider different viewpoints when deciding on the standard of practice to be followed with their employer.
