Glass railings continue to grow in popularity and present glaziers with an incredible opportunity to expand their business; however, specification questions, code changes and installation challenges can stand in the way of a successful glass railing project. In this session, attendees will learn about design considerations, code requirements, installation methods, and in-the-field tips that address unfavorable conditions. They will also walk away with a sound understanding of 2015 IBC updates—along with their impact— and the role of the International Code Council (ICC). The session will include a dry-glaze railing installation demonstration utilizing the latest technologies and best practices.
