What font should we use on that brochure? What is the seating chart for the annual gala? How quickly are customer service emails being responded to? Are these the questions your volunteer leaders ask? Associations are faced with a quickly changing environment and, in order to meet member needs, our volunteer leaders need to anticipate and plan for the future. Conversations around the Board table should focus on high-level strategy, scanning for emerging trends, and those sticky issues that everyone’s been avoiding.
