Many teachers need to improve their comfort level working with Windows PCs. The workshop will help teachers become more familiar with technology they’re already using. Routine maintenance on their PC's hard drive, recognizing scams and avoiding and getting rid of malware will part of the focus of the workshop. Attendees will learn how to safely tweak the Windows registry, using readily available freeware. They will also learn how to safely download and install software a, including some of the popular browser add-ons and extensions. This session features some Windows tweaks & tips, tools and websites to enhance skills with a Windows PC. The presenter provides the software, all freeware, needed for the workshop.
