Computer science is for EVERYONE! This session provides various ways to bring computer science to your school/district/state, providing options such as offering a complete K-12 pathways in your district, offering a computer class at your school, integrating computer science into any classroom, offering an after school program, starting a new program in your state. Participants will be exposed to most of the computer science programs available today with hands-on experience with Code.org’s Code Studio, Google’s CS-First Toolkits, unplugged activities, and various robotics options. Participants will leave with a comprehensive list of CS resources and curriculums, immediate integration options, hands-on experience, and information about free computer science professional development opportunities.
