BlocksCAD describes itself as "a web-based 3D CAD tool that uses a scratch-like interface. It is simple-to-use with robust design capabilities. The tool incorporates programming and math concepts so users learn as they create!" The tool provides an interface that is intuitive for younger students to quickly develop designs and prototypes that can easily be sent to 3D printers. In this session, we will explore the bundled curriculum and courseware that is packaged by the company as well as share how we have used BlocksCAD to enhance our middle school STEM curriculum. Students have expressed that they love working with this program over others we have tried before it.
