Good digital citizenship is increasingly complex. Come to learn about recent concerns, including safeguarding personally identifying information, managing one’s online persona, and school safety and social media. As a result of attending the workshop, participants will: * Review and discuss the critical need for safeguarding personally identifiable information. * Explore how one’s digital tattoo (or digital footprint) is created and follows its owner everywhere. * Explore why social media is so compelling for students and adults alike and explore ways it might be included in a school safety plan. An online agenda will be provided for use during and after the conference. Participants will be able to access all materials referenced.
