C374 | Purchasing at Scale: Lessons Learned for District-Wide EdTech Procurement (Room SOUTH 310A)

Technology is an essential and ubiquitous element in today’s schools and classrooms, and districts may have hundreds, if not thousands, of different tools under license and in use. In this panel session, experts will discuss the key questions and considerations for purchasing ed tech in a districtwide environment. What should leaders know about vetting tools, engaging with vendors, and finding the best available price? What are lessons learned from districts who have struggled with the process or from those who have succeeded? The insights gained will help leaders navigate the procurement process and make decisions that control budget, drive results, and support educators and students.
